These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SlideChap (“SlideChap”, “we”, “us”, or “the Service”), including our mobile apps, website, and related services. By creating an account or using SlideChap, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SlideChap helps you generate carousel-style slideshows with AI, manage image packs, schedule posts, and publish content to connected social accounts. Features may change over time.
2. AI-generated content and photo packs
Important: Some background photo packs available in SlideChap include images that depict people. Unless clearly labeled otherwise or uploaded by you, those images are AI-generated (synthetic) images — not photographs of real, identifiable individuals.
This includes, without limitation:
- Bundled or platform-provided packs that show human figures, scenes, or portraits.
- AI image packs you create inside the app using text prompts or reference images.
- Slideshow backgrounds composed from those packs when you generate or publish carousels.
You must not represent AI-generated images as authentic photographs of real people, events, or endorsements. You are responsible for how you use and publish content created with SlideChap, including compliance with the policies of each social platform and applicable advertising or disclosure rules (for example, labeling synthetic or AI-generated media where required).
3. Your content and uploads
You may import your own photos, logos, and reference images. You represent that you have the rights to use any material you upload and that your published content does not infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.
4. Accounts and acceptable use
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Do not use SlideChap for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
- Do not attempt to generate or publish content that exploits minors, promotes violence, or impersonates real individuals without authorization.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
5. Credits, purchases, and subscriptions
Certain features require credits or in-app purchases processed by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat. Purchases are subject to the applicable app store terms. Refund requests must be directed to the store where you purchased, except where we are required by law to provide a remedy.
6. Third-party services
SlideChap integrates with third parties such as Convex, OpenRouter, PostForMe, Cloudflare R2, RevenueCat, and social networks. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and privacy policies.
7. Disclaimers
SlideChap is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free AI output, or specific posting or engagement results. AI-generated text and images may be inaccurate or inappropriate — review content before publishing.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlideChap and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or from content you publish using it.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
